The device up for discussion today was created by a small Chinese company. We all know that most people are full of prejudice when it comes to such manufacturers, and pass the verdict without correctly judging the product beforehand. However, this case may represent exactly the reason why people are that prejudiced in the first place. Although this mobile is said to come equipped with some mind-blowing technologies, a second glance more than suffices to realize that the claim is not even half true. Getting started with the actual presentation of this Sciphone, we find we are dealing with a GPRS/EDGE phone using an internal memory of 50MB, expandable through cards to up to16GB, Wi-Fi, v2.0 Bluetooth with A2DP, and USB 2.0. Google applications, such as Google Search, Map, Gmail, Reader, Docs, News or iGoogle, along with the 2.8'' QVGA TFT (240x360 pixel) 262K color display, and the 4 Megapixel autofocus camera pretty much represent the best this phone has to offer. The 1500mAh battery could be placed in the same category as all the above only if we were to try really hard. Not too convincing capabilities, wouldn't you say? Especially when considering that it has no 3G connectivity, doesn't come equipped with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard or any virtual keys that could have definitely enhanced the fun factor regarding this "groundbreaking" phone. For the last part of the presentation, you will probably ne happy to learn that it runs on the Android OS, and even though it was promised as a smartphone, it probably won't meet the requirements of today's customers
